Clocks from Iconic Buildings

Arne Jacobsen is behind some of the most famous design and buildings in Danish history. And taking home one of his wall clocks is actually bringing home a small piece of some of his most important architectural work.
When we think of iconic Danish design, Arne Jacobsen is always top of the list. He's done it all; from the coolest chairs and furniture, over exemplary architectural creations, to smaller design objects, like clocks. And in fact, some of the clocks we love to hang on our walls have a tight relationship to some of his landmark buildings; so taking home an Arne Jacobsen clock is like bringing home a little piece of his architecture.

The Danish National Bank is quite the colossal, a minimalist masterpiece. For this landmark, Arne Jacobsen designed the iconic Bankers Clock.

The City Hall Clock resides at Rødovre Town Hall, one of Arne Jacobsen's celebrated curtain walled structures. The clock was designed in 1956 and is an exemplary minimalist piece.
