New Musical Geniuses
Everyone knows that style is a powerful word in the Scandi countries. From fashion to decor, Scandis have an eye for design, but this creativity explodes through all the senses, and musicians have their own way to express their prolific originality.
The summer festivals in Scandinavia are the best scene to enjoy the performances of some super talented Scandi musicians. Don’t miss out on these three insanely talented up-and-coming artists; we will be first row partying with their beats!Anna von Hausswolff, photo by Way Out West
Acoustic darkness and a deep gloomy-melancholic ambiance will embrace you when listening to Anna von Hausswolff at Sweden's Way out West Festival. This Swedish composer uses the organ as a tool for transmitting her preoccupations about mortality to a musical level that is relaxing and disturbing at the same time. Don’t miss out on her performance and get some inspo for when you’re challenging your inner goth.Bisse, photo by Michella Bredahl/Roskilde Festival
If there’s a Danish artist that stands out for his wildly creative personality, it is Bisse. His super conceptual music videos reflect the mix of classical songwriting, hip-hop and post-punk that are part of his musical identity. Denmark's Roskilde Festival will count with the performance of Bisse this year, and it's one not to miss!Cezinando, photo by Maria Pasenau/ØyaFestivalen.
Rapper, songwriter and ballet dancer, that’s the winning combination behind Cezinando's style. This Norwegian star broke through when his song “Håper Du Har Plass” ("Hope You have Room") was part of the wildly popular youth-series “Skam”, and since then has been conquering the scene of any stage he steps in. Known as the prince of Norwegian pop, his performance at Øya Festival in Oslo will definitely be worth a visit.
