Dill is the first Icelandic restaurant to receive a Michelin star. The New Nordic style menu is beyond beautiful - and so is the restaurants itself. The cuisine pays homage to the New Nordic movement, and looking beyond the plate, as we do in our Gourmet Rooms series, the Scandinavian vibe also runs through the interior design. Dill is situated in one of the Icelandic capitals iconic old buildings built in 1910, and the restaurant's area actually used to be a barn and annexe for cattle. It is clear that the history of the rooms has clearly been respected in the interior choices, that ooze of rugged sophistication.
